With over 45 new compostable "to go" containers and a new program to compost our food waste and disposables, Dining Services is working hard to improve our footprint in the community!
How you pitch in.
Eat In: By dining in and using china and flatware you reduce waste.
Carryout: The new compostable carryout containers are more costly – so we
are adding a $.25 charge to all carryout orders to help with the cost.
Compost It: If you need to grab-and-go, save your containers and return
them to any dining facility. We will send them out for composting.
Participate: Buy a reusable mug – save money and the earth with every
refill.
Watch: We’re just getting started. Keep your eyes open for new
initiatives kicking off throughout the year.
